LOG 2.0 Vehicle Data Acquisition Toolchain

LOG 2.0 is a unique tool for acquiring and processing relevant driving data from test vehicles. A modular in-vehicle setup enables recording of a wide range of communication buses and provides both video and audio recordings.
All recorded data from test vehicles are uploaded to cloud storage after pressing a trigger button, where they are immediately available for automated analysis.

Product Description

LOG 2.0 is an efficient tool for collecting vehicle data relevant to quality assurance and functional safety. The measuring system consists of an in-vehicle hardware solution, cloud storage, and data pre-processing services. The output is data packages prepared for further analysis.

Each data package contains selected recordings from vehicle communication buses, time-synchronized recordings of vehicle displays, and optional audio comments. After data upload to the cloud, designated users are automatically notified about new data records. Each installation is tailored to the specific use case and the customer daily usage scenario.

Wireless (over-the-air) data transmission eliminates the need for physical data download from storage media and enables preliminary fault analysis already during the test drive.

The measuring system can be integrated in a way that does not affect the vehicle’s everyday use.

After triggered data is transferred to the cloud, it is exported and pre-processed in accordance with the subsequent analysis performed by the customer.
