Digiteq Automotive is a subsidiary of CARIAD SE (51% share) and Škoda Auto a.s. (49% share). This makes us a 100% member of the Volkswagen Group and allows us to participate in the most interesting projects of various Volkswagen Group brands.

Marco Jähnisch
Marco Jähnisch Managing Director and CEO of Digiteq Automotive since 8/1/2025

He previously worked as Head of the ADAS and Automated Vehicle Behavior Software division at CARIAD. In this role, he oversaw software development for driving, safety, and parking functions across six vehicle platforms. His responsibilities included the successful delivery of key features such as VW Travel Assist and VW Front Assist.

Prior to this, he headed the Camera Perception ADAS and AD division at CARIAD, where he built a high-performing team of software and machine learning experts focused on autonomous driving. He also led strategic software task forces and development teams at Carmeq.

Dr. Jähnisch holds a Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Oldenburg, began his career in software engineering and research, and has since accumulated over 20 years of experience in automotive software development. He is the author of multiple patents and has presented internationally on topics such as automated driving and sensor data fusion.
